You race through the now open doors and into the lobby! However, the doors to the outside street look thoroughly barricaded and blocked. Someone clearly spent some time doing this. There’s no way you’ll be able to get through those and head out that direction.
Suddenly, you hear the voice of the famous producer—Peter Burndet!
Transcript:
“We’re totally trapped! Fortunately, we might be able to get out through the booth, which has access to the roof of the theater. Though knowing this show’s luck, that’ll be locked too. I mean look at this! One bad review right after another, we’re constantly having to replace actors, and look--these programs are completely ruined! I can’t pass these out to audience members. This would have never happened in another Broadway theater. This show is just cursed. Well, might as well try to save ourselves at least if we can—follow me to the booth.”
He motions you to follow him. You do until you get to the door of the technical booth—which, unfortunately, is locked!
You find another mysterious note nearby:
You find a playbill for “43rd street,” the show you came to see.
